    • Gemini Corporation

      Mar 2016 - Aug 2016
      Electrican apprentice

Installation of cable tray and cabling, as well as heat trace, at a MOD yard. Intensive plan and schematic reading was required in order to determine position, length, and span of tray, locations of components, as well as design and build of support structures. Safety was a great concern onsite, and I took that to heart - making sure to follow all proper procedures, and helping to ensure newer and less experienced workers were also kept safe and aware of hazards.

    • Gemini Corporation

      May 2017 - May 2018
      Industrial Electrician Lead Hand
    • Milo Group

      Jul 2018 - Jul 2019
      Journeyman Electrician and Electrical Foreman

I began working for Milo Group on the NACG headquarters in Spruce Grove. After a short time I was moved to a lead position, and worked to complete the NACG project after the foreman moved up in the organization. Not long after that I was made a foreman, and ran 3 smaller commercial projects, before starting the new grandstands and luxury suites at the Ponoka Stampede grounds. I was the lead on the project from start to finish, ran a staff of 2 to as many as 8 electricians, and met all the deadlines and passed all inspections on schedule. The project was well received by the customer, and completed in 5 months, on time for the 2019 Stampede. Show less

    • Kiewit

      Sept 2019 - Dec 2019
      Journeyman Electrician

Industrial electrician, working on the Supplemental Crushers project for Imperial Oil. I was brought on late in the project, and was primarily responsible for terminations and wiring of junction boxes. I was also made responsible for the wiring and connections required for the disconnects on the movable equipment. These were 64 pin crimp style connectors which required precise and exact terminations in a very tight enclosure, for which my electronics background allowed me a significant advantage. Show less
