      This role, part of the senior leadership team in HR and Vodafone NZ, led the implementation of Vodafone NZ’s leadership, talent management, diversity and culture strategies as well as managing a budget of $1m NZD. • Leadership – implementation of Vodafone NZ’s leadership strategy, managing leadership events for top 50 leaders, executive off-sites and development of the senior leadership team. Managed portfolio of leadership development programmes.• Employee survey – led the roll out of the global employee survey locally in NZ• Talent management – led the bi-annual talent management process for Vodafone NZ, including facilitation of Executive talent review - facilitating succession planning and HiPo identification and development• Diversity – leadership and facilitation of Vodafone’s women’s network• Culture – key contributor to design and implementation of new Employee Value Proposition• Coaching – individual coaching for a diverse group of senior managers on their leadership styles, climate and careers • Budget – managed budget of $1m NZD• Managing Team – managed team of 4 direct reports Show less The purpose of this global role was to lead the roll out of the annual engagement survey globally. • Engagement Survey – project managed the end to end delivery of the annual global People Survey 2007, an employee survey (Hay Group) for all 70,000 Vodafone people in 17 Operating Companies worldwide in 11 languages. • Budget – managed the €1m budget for the survey• Manager Index – designed and implemented the Manager Index, a mechanism for giving people managers feedback on the experience they created for their team through the survey• Stakeholder Management – managed the numerous stakeholders for the project, ensuring they had sufficient input and briefing at all stages. Included designing and delivering presentations to senior audiences (e.g. HR directors worldwide) on survey and engagement• Consultancy – acted as an internal consultant on employee surveys and engagement, negotiating targets with Vodafone Operating Company HR Directors globally and assisting them to create action plans locally and globally to improve engagement and productivity• Managing Team –managed 1 direct report Show less This role was to embed and improve the global performance management process for Vodafone Group, build a new global competency framework and manage Vodafone’s psychometric testing approach globally.• Performance Management – managed the new global performance management process, carrying out a review of the process with 17 Operating Companies, making recommendations for improving the process and project managing those improvements for the following performance cycle. Consulted to Vodafone’s Operating Companies to enable them to embed the process locally. • Competency Framework – project managed the creation of a new global competency framework which was then rolled out to the organisation during 2007.• Psychometric Testing – managed the SHL OPQ and ability tests globally, liaising with the supplier and consulting on the use of the tools.       This role, part of the senior leadership team in HR and Vodafone NZ, led the design and implementation of the learning and development strategy for Vodafone NZ, with a particular focus on the Sales (business to business and retail) and Service functions and learning technologies• Strategy design – designed the learning and development strategy for Vodafone NZ and secured sign off of this strategy by the Executive team• LMS implementation – led the end to end implementation of a new learning management system for Vodafone NZ, including supplier selection, stakeholder management and project management, resulting in 200% ROI in the first 10 months• Learning technologies upskill – led the upskill of the Capability Development team in the use of learning technologies to deliver eLearning for the first time; built strategic partnerships for outsourced eLearning build• Sales and Service capability development strategies – led the design and implementation of the capability development strategies for the Sales and Service functions; led development of a $350k Core Skills Programme for frontline employees in Retail and Service; led design of skills frameworks for Sales and Service. Project managed RFP process for the business sales function to design a $700k development programme to support the transformation of the salesforce to a farmer model. Negotiated savings of $200k with supplier. RFP process carried out within very tight timescales. • Restructure – led the redesign and restructure of the Capability Development department, successfully securing agreement from the Executive team to increase headcount by 7 FTE and an additional budget of $1m • Coaching – individual coaching for a diverse group of senior managers on their leadership styles, climate and careers• Budget – managed budget of $1.9m NZD• Managing team – managed team of 13 FTE plus 8-10 contractors Show less
