  Stay Sweet Press focuses on cultivating underground musical talent and uses multiple approaches to do so. The basis of SSP is talent buying and promotion in Richmond, Virginia. I booked my first show in January of 2007 and have organized nearly 500 since (a detailed archive can be found below). Besides promoting these events, other responsibilities sometimes includes running sound equipment, ID verification and ticket exchange, and crowd control.Stay Sweet Fest is an annual, three day, volunteer ran independent music festival that was first organized in April of 2011. While attendance and performing artist numbers vary with each year, the April 2013 festival boasted a volunteer team of about 10, attendance of about 350, and total performing acts about 70.Stay Sweet Records operates within SSP and in October of 2013, our first full length vinyl LP was ordered for a band local to the Richmond area.
