  The RNLI recruit a selection of highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic individuals for an 8 week summer campaign each summer targeted at generating monthly voluntary income from the general public. This involved a week of training at the RNLI headquarters in Poole developing skills in paralinguistics, social intelligence and even NLP (Neuro-linguistic programing). So far I have generated over £50,000 over the next 5 years for the charity through recruiting over 200 new supporters.

  Two week work placement with Empire Magazine. Being totally immersed in film and film culture, this placement provided an incredible insight into how the industry operates from a consumer perspective and how mainstream film publications are produced.Tasks included; compiling a databank of classic scenes, photo editing, transcribing, logging, writing material, and editing. The role required diligence and utmost discretion regarding industry sensitive details. This is possibly the coolest thing I’ve ever done, attending advanced screenings to films such as Star Trek: Into Darkness and Rush, cookies from J.J Abrams and sitting with the actual TED.   Co-producing documentary of the 2013 Mongol Rally as a part of a team of three, filming all aspects of the Northern route to Mongolia using prototype camera equipment supplied by JVC.Selected out of over 800 other racers, our team has managed to acquire sponsorship from various companies in return for providing video and photographic material. Clients include Silverpoint, Man Crates, Celtic Co, Power Traveller, Kelly Kettle and Skinners Brewery.Setting out to raise £10,000, the project has been running since October 2012 through applying for sponsorship, fundraising, filming, editing, visa applications and liaising with host companies. Setting out from Dover on the 14th of July, we will be racing through 11 different countries touring rough terrain through the Altai Mountains and the Gobi Desert building a film and photography portfolio. I have since been invited back repeatedly for short term development research contracts assisting various factual and documentary projects for likes of ITV Exposures and BBC Panorama. Several of these have since received the green light and are due to begin production. Working on Channel 4’s Dispatches program output, immersed in headline making investigative journalism.Tasks include; transcribing, editing, research and organising location shoots all over highly sensitive material and challenging social issues. Discretion, tact and diplomacy are essential skills that are consistently required to achieve results, particularly when trying to secure access to film in hazardous environments.

Worked as an Access AP and Shooting AP for a brand new series commissioned by a major SVOD broadcaster working with Tier One military units around the world with a team of three presenters. Spent six months on a two-part series called Inside Belmarsh for Channel 5, shooting second camera, casting former inmates and prison officers from Britain's most highly secured facility. Short contract working on a current affairs / crime series for CBS about the risks in releasing repeat offenders who are dependent on drugs, without imposing conditions to their release.
