Responsible for the commissioning of design teams, administration of design contracts and comprehensive oversight of design deliverables. Also responsible for all construction activities including conceptual budgeting, scheduling, solicitation of bids and proposals, contract negotiations, administration of contracts, dispute resolution, risk management and property management. Managed staff of (15) professionals and (4) non-professionals. Projects included Metropolis at Dadeland condominiums ($126.7 million, two 26-story towers), Quantum on the Bay condominiums ($241.1 million, 48-story and 42-story towers), 900 Biscayne Bay condominiums ($392.2 million, single 63-story tower) and pre-construction services related to Freedom Square condominiums ($538.4 million, single 60-story tower). Created and implemented a very successful Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) through AIG.Greenwood Corporation, Houston, 2002-2003. Owner’s representative on the delivery of projects including pre-construction services, management of design team and management of the construction process. Projects included horizontal development (street/utility work), pre-construction services for a large 3-story condominium project, two 6-story suburban office towers and a large free-standing specialty restaurant.
