Show less Primarily was responsible to grow aftermarket sales of Spare Parts for Caterpillar Engines and the Diesel Power Generation Sets. The market share for aftermarket parts sales for Caterpillar was hovering around 45%, and in 4 years time, using several growth strategies, customer centric support systems and processes, dealers training and capability enhancements, inventory management and efficient logistics, we drove the market share to 85%. The sales revenues in absolute rupee terms jumped from Rs.120Million to Rs.600Million; a 500% growth. This brought repetitive purchases of main engines and diesel generator sets by the customers. This also increased customers confidence on Caterpillar and its dealers distribution network mainly on aftermarket sales, service and support. Show less
