  At Gatik, I was the sole frontend engineer on the software development team for Gatik’s trip tracking and management software. This web software is used by customers such as Walmart and Kroger to track their deliveries, as well as Gatik operators and dispatchers to manage trips, routes, and autonomous vehicles.I lead the team's efforts to improve performance across the software, which included caching, reducing REST response sizes, and pre-loading results.I introduced frontend unit testing to the project using React Testing Library, Jest, and axe for accessibility testing, and achieved 100% coverage across our design system, and 90% coverage of our pages.Implemented a new design system with emphasis on usability, accessibility, and responsiveness.
