  My master thesis: Can the spread of scientific knowlegde determine/explain the innovativeness of a specific scientic discipline in certain geographical regions. Interessant findings: A correlation was found between the density of scientific knowlegde in certain geographical region and the innovativeness in these regions. This model could be used to predict where new innovations are more likely to emerge and in which regions companies would be more eager to invest in.

In this paper the focus is put on the success factors of strategic technological alliances. It combines different theories as transaction-cost economics, resource-based theory, sociological theories and others to form a basis in order to develop a integrated conceptual model of the factors influencing the success of the strategic technological alliances. The list of 22 factors from this article were ordered into different groups that were named as: Strategic Flexibility, Resource coordination, Knowledge/Information coordination, Trust, Organizational plan, Mutual Goals and Cultural Similarity. These groups can be considered as the basis for the success of strategic technology alliances. Each group is explained and reinforced by different references. Show less
