      I am embedded within Rolls-Royce assisting the day to day Laboratory quality checks on numerous high value civil and military components. This involves assessing LASER drilled and electro-discharged machined holes to global quality documents.As part of the coatings Laboratory, I asses the components for coatings integrity and determine if they are acceptable for production. I have liaised with suppliers to provide 1 to 1 training to assess the coatings systems accurately. I sentence components for strip and recoat to determine if defected parts can be reworked.I help to manage ongoing project improvement activities for military components to ensure lean manufacturing and the highest quality is achieved.
