  During my time at Viajes El Corte Inglés, I progressed through several roles, starting as a developer in new technology projects and advancing to team lead, tech lead, and eventually Head of Development and Head of Architecture. My responsibilities involved defining strategies for development, quality assurance (QA), and DevOps, with a focus on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, deployment models, and ensuring robust integration with tools like Sonar for test coverage.I played a key role in designing applications based on microservices and event-driven architectures, which allowed for greater scalability and flexibility in the company’s systems. One of my major accomplishments was leading the migration of application servers from the local data center to a private cloud and later to Azure, a critical step in the company’s digital transformation journey.As Head of Architecture, I oversaw the integration of legacy systems with modern solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency. I also managed the development of a new eCommerce platform, integrating Oracle CMS and vendor products, which significantly enhanced the company’s online presence. Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of a hotel connection hub to simplify and expedite the integration of providers, and I implemented high-performance metasearch platforms using a highly scalable CRQS system to handle high-demand traffic and improve response times.   In my role as Head of Enterprise Architecture at Leroy Merlin, I have successfully led a team of over 40 architects, including enterprise, solutions, and data architects. I have been instrumental in defining the technology strategy to achieve the company's digital transformation, collaborating closely with the CTO and various departments. My focus has been on establishing work plans and methodologies across different areas to adopt new solutions and modernize legacy applications, all aligned with the company's strategic business plans and OKRs.I have designed and implemented global solutions for the Adeo Group, leveraging local teams to ensure effective execution. To facilitate comprehensive and useful architecture studies for both management and development teams, we adopted a working methodology based on TOGAF, streamlined with a C4 documentation model. Additionally, I standardized the use of technologies across the company, ensuring alignment with the Adeo Group while providing essential tools and accelerators to the development and QA teams.Throughout my tenure, I have been involved in significant projects, including the development of an eCommerce platform that was delivered within a tight timeframe of 7 months, as well as its integration with a marketplace solution that aligns with global platforms. I have also played a key role in modernizing tools and processes within the supply chain, which includes enhancing order orchestration, improving last-mile operations, and optimizing logistics operations in warehouses and stores.
