  I manage the audio/visual department for the conference center at 300 E. Randolph. As a client-facing lead technician, my responsibilities are diverse and the role is demanding yet rewarding. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, executive (C-level) tech support, conducting needs analyses, purchasing equipment, overseeing inventory, interfacing both guest devices and client-owned Cisco telepresence videoconferencing equipment with Crestron-controlled A/V devices, training end users on equipment operation, creating instructional videos and manuals, digital signage operation and maintenance, as well as designing, building, and operating custom portable Public Address solutions. I play an active role in live event production, as the in-house A1 as well as the in-house TD when productions do not require a dedicated telepresence support team. I also coordinate equipment rentals and interface with outside A/V companies for large scale events as well as regularly meet with guests and stakeholders for the purposes of providing general A/V consultation. In addition to providing tech support and supervising live event production, I also operate and maintain the AMX Inspired Signage digital signage network for most of the building, which is comprised of dozens of IP controlled players and monitors.
