  -Serve the Pontifical Mission Societies as the principal agent for education, formation, andresource development of the Church's baptismal call to be missionaries according to theteaching of Vatican II and in light of the call for the New Evangelization.-Extend the profile and mandate of the Pontifical Mission Societies by building andmaintaining relationships with national and international Church structures and mission-oriented Catholic religious orders and organizations.
