  At Tropical Smoothie I had a lot of experience in the hospitality and food industry. I learned a lot about how to deal with all sorts of people and how to really effectively work in a team. This was my first job when I was in highschool, and it was a great experience. I was even in charge of placing orders and trusted by my manager to go run errands for him. I was allowed to count the profit from the day and the tips at the end of the night from the safe, I developed a very neat work habit from this job and gained some cooking experience out of it too.   In my other lab, I am just in charge of running samples that we have and analyzing the data using MassLynx. We either get ice from the poles or Greenland, shred or melt the ice and then analyze the trace gases that were trapped in the ice from thousands of years ago and make a model of that, comparing it to modern day levels and changes. We also run air samples from the same places or current day air. We do this because solid ice cores are many meters down, so you're missing out on all the fern air that sits on top of the ice core, so that gets extracted as well as the core and then analyzed.
