      As an intern in AIG HQ in Paris, I worked alongside the European HR management team, which was a fantastic learning experience. After 6 months with them, I was asked to head-up the creation of the local HR department in Copenhagen under the supervision of the Benelux HR manager. By building the foundation for a fully working HR department, I received hands-on experience with all levels and facets of HRM.

      Working for a top Danish headhunter firm, I assisted the Financial Services Partner in searching for and selecting candidates for high level jobs in the Danish financial sector. I had the full responsibility for client and candidate management, conducting screenings and setting up interviews. Though working with international partners in Luxembourg, Germany and Iceland in a very interesting period for Banking and Insurance, I never fully appreciated the specialist role and missed the broader HR palet.       A luxury introduction to independent company management - having a headhunter ask me to set up a company with a contract of 40 weekly hours of steady work for at&t in 6 months' increments... I do miss working for my self and I must admit to a certain motivation in being able to know exactly what 2 hours of uninteresting Admin is worth in € - but on the other hand, I do not miss the tax audits. So maybe again some day...

Secondly, I design and facilitate talks, seminars and workshops on the topics of Cultural Intelligence, Intercultural Leadership, and Danish/DTU organisational culture.
