The NYCHVS collects data in all of New York City’s neighborhoods, in all five boroughs, and focuses on representing all New Yorkers—regardless of who they are or where they live. Colibrí Academy for HIV and Language Justice is an in-depth Language Justice Capacity Building and Mentorship program for a cohort of 5 organizations representing a spectrum of groups and impacted communities, with emphasis placed on QTBIPOC and PWHA-led organizations and programs. Colibrí meets organizations where they are — building on their strengths, priorities, and existing structures — to foster an organizational culture shift towards greater language justice that strengthens relationships between actors in the HIV and Language Justice movements.
