      Day to day running of the Venue and Project management of live events held within a busy 180 acre Conference and Exhibition Centre. The Yorkshire Event Centre is a fully owned subsidiary supporting the charitable objectives of the Yorkshire Agricultural Society.Operational responsibilities include Managing Budgets, Health and Safety, Customer Service, Waste Management and Recycling, Energy Saving, Responsible for Maintenance and Facilities Management, Surveying of facilities onsite to ensure fit for purpose and fully compliant with current legislation. Managing a team of site staff and contractors, scheduling works, Troubleshooting, Updating and manipulating site plans using AutoCad, updating and developing website. In my current role I am heavily involved in building partnerships with clients and collating reviewing and approving event details and Health and Safety documentation. In addition to my organisational role it is my duty to ensure the venue and site facilities are fully compliant with current legislation at all times, in order to carry out this function I have enjoyed building a huge amount of technical knowledge in a broad range of activities including Facilities Management, Electrical Safety, Rigging, Crowd Dynamics, Fire Safety, Hazard Spotting. This can often involve making difficult decisions to ensure all of our residual risks are as low as possible which has in turn put the venue in an enviable position of having an impeccable safety record.
