      Development Specialist, Global Risk SWD Fraud & Compliance (HSBC)Form part of and engineering team helping to develop, enhance and support the Security Compliance Data Matching (SCDM) application in order to ensure it meets business needs and regulatory requirements. Involved in the technical design, application build and configuration of distributed environments in support of the Group Fraud systems.Responsible for overseeing a team of 6 Support Staff based in GLTi, dealing with application support of a third party vendor product. Supporting a wide range of technical issues and functional queries from all areas of the business, technical teams and user population. Working on continuous improvements to streamline support processes and improve the peripheral functioning of the application (the code being held by the vendor). Proactively working with the vendor, other support teams and problem management to drive investigations and resolution of incidents, as well as determining root cause and identifying permanent solutions. Communicating details of incidents at a level appropriate to the recipient, whether technical or business focused, written or verbal.
