This was achieved by increasing revenue producing assets by $27 million dollars, fee income by $273 thousand dollars annually and reducing payroll by $720 thousand dollars annually. Employee morale and pride in the company was improved by elevating the bank's community image through billboard, TV, newspaper advertising, visible employee community involvement and setting forth customer service and performance standards. These actions, combined with integration of a strong mission statement resulted in greater pride, performance and profitability and the establishment of a respected market brand.   Being a long term board members and former board chairman with a strong financial and leadership background, I was asked to fill in as the interim director while a nationwide search was being conducted for a new Executive Director. The Pasco Education Foundation was in need of internal financial structure improvement, employee recognition, clear and specific duties identification (job descriptions) and performance accountabilities. There was a need to boost employee morale and upgrade certain positions, add status and make pay increases for high value employees. These things were accomplished during my interim leadership. Additionally, financial accounting consistency, cross checks and accounting standards were upgraded as was the understanding of involved employees. I instituted cross balancing and backup records, dual control where needed and elevated the need for a more straightforward and simple accounting system to the Executive Board, which was later adopted. I also made recommendations for streamlining the scholarship endowment investment policy, investment accounting process and reporting. Employee self esteem and morale was improved as a result of these actions.
