  Helping local citizens build a strong, grassroots community organization, dedicated to empowering and preparing people of faith to work for a greater degree of justice in Montgomery County. My direct responsibilities were to facilitate all board meetings, assist in fundraising efforts that supported day to day operations, make organization and budget recommendations, participate in direct action activities that included dialoguing with local decision makers in order to alleviate community problems, participate in public protests (when necessary) designed to expedite needed community changes, and assist in the hire and evaluation of organizer staff.
