  My role at Jack Astors is to efficiently seat guests in a timely matter. I am responsible for the Hosts and their supervision. I have also taken on the job of distributing the tips among the FOH and BOH teams. Jack Astors has taught me the importance of constant communication with guests. This position has showed me how to effectively communicate my thoughts and remain professional throughout any situation.

  Throughout my years at Algonquin College I had the opportunity to work with several real clients and create a marketing plan. I feel as if this was the differentiating factor that made my experience at Algonquin College so memorable. These projects taught me how to professionally communicate with a client and how to make strategic recommendations. During my time at Algonquin College, I was presented the opportunity to be my groups team leader. My position included motivating and guiding my team to success. Throughout my experience I learned the value of cooperation and flexibility when working in a group. I will be forever grateful for this outstanding opportunity and will transfer the skills I have gained into future projects.
