  Worked in shift operations at Kot Addu Power Complex (KAPCO) Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) with installed capacity of 1600 MW multi-fuel fired Gas Turbines of GE 9001E and Siemens V94.2 with associated Steam Turbines of Alstom Vega 209 and Siemens.Role & Responsibilities: To run/operate the Gas turbines and Steam turbines manufactured on the cheapest available fuel since it is a power station with Combined Cycle having multi-fuel commercial operation on GAS, LSFO, HSD and Mix Fuel. Communicate with RCC and NPCC control center for accomplishing dispatch instructions efficiently and managing the fax records during shift hours. Responsible for effectively recovering plant auxiliary supplies in case of minor or major Blackout and ensuring smooth operation of Black Start Diesel Generator in case of complete Blackout. Maintains general safety and implementation of KAPCO safety rules during shift hours. Ensuring that "International Safety Rules" safety document procedures (PTW) are to be followed using software Eclipse and LOTO system. As an incident coordinator, to assist in controlling any incident that happens with in plant vicinity. To carry out safety drills and rehearsals to keep the entire teams (medical, firefighting and chemical) active. Analyze plant operating parameters, Identify abnormal parameters and take corrective actions in case of any deviation from set value, predict potential faults and Raise job cards in Q4CAMM software. Operation of LV, MV, HV switch gears, Electrical systems and 220KV switchyard. Prepare shift reports, plant data sheets and performance reports as per shift routine. Complete knowledge of Logic diagrams and P&ID’s of GE Frame 9E, Siemens V94.2 and Alstom Vega steam turbine. Operation of BOP’s and plant auxiliaries by ensuring plant integrity. Carryout Compressor and Turbine Washing, Purging of Gas turbine and preservation of HRSG’s.   Worked in shift operations at 1223 MW Balloki Combine Cycle Power Plant having state of the art high efficiency GE 9HA.01 Gas Turbines (2x406 MW) with triple pressure HRSG’s and Alstom Steam Turbine (411MW).Role & Responsibilities: Perform safe startup, maintain normal operation, emergency handling and shutdown of GE 9HA.01 Gas Turbines, triple pressure HRSG’s, Steam Turbine and its auxiliaries within safe operating limits. Maintaining close coordination with NPCC to efficiently follow dispatch instructions, assist shift charge engineer in decision making regarding commercial impacts according to PPA and manage fax records effectively. Monitor and analyze all parameters which affect the thermal efficiency/heat rate of the CCPP. Coordination with maintenance sections for CM and PM tasks, as well as perform work order related activities on MAXIMO. Have a thorough understanding of implementing the Permit to Work system, LOTO systems and various types of permits to prevent any potential personal or material damage in the best possible manner. Responsible for the operation and monitoring of hydrogen cooled generators, seal oil system, ensuring efficiency and safety.   Currently working in shift operations at Rousch Power Plant (450 MW CCPP) having Siemens V94.2/SGT5-2000 Gas Turbines and Siemens Steam Turbine DN30-16.Role & Responsibilities: My job is to manage operation of the plant in a safe, efficient & smooth manner during shift hourstaking care of load demand, dispatch operating procedures, OEM recommendations and localprocedures/instructions. Understanding of PPA and communication with SNGPL (Sui Northern Gas Pipelines) and NPCC (National Power Control Centre) during shift hours to follow dispatch instructions and manage fax records. As a PICOSO, to take lead in controlling any incident/spillage that happens with in plant vicinity. To carry out safety drills and rehearsals to keep the entire teams (medical, firefighting and chemical) active. Have a thorough understanding of implementing the Permit to Work system, LOTO systems and various types of permits to prevent any potential personal or material damage in the best possible manner. Operation of LV, MV, HV switch gears, Electrical systems and 500KV switchyard. To ensure timely reporting of all faults and to support maintenance teams in their rectification. Prepare shift reports, daily event reports, plant data sheets and performance reports according to the shift routine. Prepare incident/outage reports for plant trips, including recommendations to avoid recurrence in the future.
