  - Managing and coordinating the chemical production of two API’s, from the plant or the regulatory starting material to the API: plantations/extraction facilities belonging to the group, all the chemical production done by third parties through contract manufacturing, in Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, Brazil, India. The production was of high quality, allowing sales for several tens of millions of Euro during this period.- Responsible for the production by aerobic fermentation of a bacterioporphyrin, the starting material for an anticancer API using aerobic fermentation, for the company Steba Biotech. Heavily involved in the Pharmaceutical Development of Steba, (in its CMC team) where a swiss CMO to produce the regulatory starting material for the anticancer API was selected. Advised the top management to transfer the manufacturing process of this anticancer drug made in Negma (France) to Steba (Israel). -Following the sales of Negma to Wockhardt (Indian Pharma Company) , the pressure on prices of APIs was felt. In order to reduce costs, I optimized the production of a starting raw material and of the production of an API with a Swiss CRO. The analytical methods for this API were also improved by a Belgium CRO. The processes were transferred to India. I wrote a new EDMF and organized the batch release in Europe. HI also managed the coordination of the defence of the Company’s rights regarding its commercial contracts and the exclusivity of manufacturing, and its patent portfolio. Show less

This application would solve multiple problems at once: stabilizing in a lighter form the precious phosphorous and nitrogen, avoiding a release of of dangerous pathogens, avoiding emissions of GHG, leaving clean water as the final product.
