In the second year my team was ranked in 2nd place in the team competition. My research is focusing on the fabrication and characterization of a mechanical microresonator with embedded a nanochannel for the fluidics with the aim of do a single nanoparticle characterization. I followed the entire development process: from design to manufacturing and now to characterization and application. The fabrication part of the project is done in a collaboration with the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and so most of the process are done in the CMi@EPFL cleanroom.
