My role and achievements included:Planning: Crafted the storyboard for the existing Excel-based program, outlining the necessary steps for a smooth transition.Statistical Analysis (Python): Utilized Maximum Likelihood Estimator (MLE) to estimate the parameters of statistical distributions, conducting research to find an optimized balance between stability and speed.Scenario Generation: Created approximately 100,000 scenarios using Inverse Transform Sampling, a sophisticated technique for generating representative scenarios.Code Optimization: Employed vectorization to improve the speed of scenario generation, resulting in more efficient processes and faster execution times.Reinsurance Pricing Program Improvement (Excel VBA-based):I also contributed to the enhancement of the existing Excel VBA-based reinsurance pricing program.
