      Accessibility Tester

I move the digital world forward by working with leading brands to improve their digital accessibility. As an Accessibility Tester I work with large organizations to improve the accessibility of digital products across industries including e-ecommerce, banking, education and more. The feedback that I provide, impacts the lives of the 1.3 billion people around the world who live with disabilities.I complete ‘self-guided’ or, unmoderated, research requests, in which I record testing task flows. These recordings are used to help inform companies with accessibility and usability insights.I participate in ‘user Interview’ requests (moderated research requests) where I’m interviewed by researchers or specialists in the field while performing specific task flows. These recorded interviews are used to help identify new issues with a product related to its accessibility and usability.I provide written feedback on the compatibility and accessibility of user journeys within customer digital properties across assistive technologies, devices and browsers. These are captured in compatibility tests, which are unmoderated research requests. This written feedback is used to help guide companies with their accessibility efforts across their digital products.During compatibility tests I use reading comprehension skills to follow step by step instructions in a precise way. I use critical thinking and written communications skills to provide accessibility and usability feedback. I'm an expert at using my assistive technology and have the technical skills to execute product flowsAs part of my role, I complete Prototype Reviews, which are moderated research requests in which I'm interviewed by researchers or specialists to test digital product prototypes. These recorded interviews are used to gain accessibility and usability insights of prototypes. With this feedback companies can fully integrate accessibility into their product cycles early and often. Show less
