  My responsibilities at Onitsuka Tiger were similar to my responsibilities at Timberland. Utilising the 5 steps of selling to land and close a sale was the objective with each customer. Walk-through customers only spent a few seconds in the store, as opposed to a few minutes as they did in Timberland. This meant the sales approach required a strong emphasis on building rapport. This allowed the customer to stay in the store longer and naturally increased the chances of making a sale. Utilising the 5 steps of selling; building rapport, identifying needs, presenting the solution, closing the sale and adding-on, was the objective with each customer. Meeting and exceeding the set KPI was something I took pride in. Along with this, my responsibilities included; handling cash, stock ordering, merchandising and dealing with customer refunds or queries.
