      Operated and maintained the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Freedom of Information Act and Information Declassification and Sanitization for Public Release Program. Ensured all classified information was reviewed properly and protected from inadvertent release. Performed as the sole Litigation Specialist and processed high priority litigation cases and chaired the Senior Review Board and developed plans, procedures, and policies for the agency. Processed Freedom of Information (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA) and Mandatory Declassification Reviews (MDR) while supervising six personnel to include FOIA analysts, administrative technicians and document technicians, also maintained a database for tracking current and backlogged requests and the liaison between the project manager and junior document reviewers. Provided technical assistance in the area of logistics administration and conducted command inspections and staff assistance visits to the brigades and battalions under the command. Developed and implemented a logistic checklist for the Organizational Inspection Program (OIP) for the Command G-4. The utilization of this checklist resulted in inspections operating smoother and improved the overall success rate of the units being inspected. At the command level, supervised 55 supply sergeants and managed two brigade supply master sergeants and eight battalion supply sergeant first class.Assisted the facility manager with updated building personnel on security measures and advised general officers on proper classification of command information. Was responsible for maintaining accountability of over $900,000 worth of equipment for the entire command and all expenditures made with the Government Purchase Card and was assigned the additional duty as Command Equal Opportunity (EO) Leader. Provided EO training and support to two brigades and two battalions that fall under the purview of the command and personally trained 100 enlisted soldiers and officers by providing oral briefings, written handouts and one on one counseling.       Served as Senior Analyst in the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts Office where my duties included the coordination of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) requests. As the IT Liaison for management and staff, managed software upgrades with DTRA IT support staff. This allowed the agency to keep their FOIA processing software up to date without downtime between upgrades and allowed the staff to process 50% more of their actions electronically. Created and maintain the agencies first e-FOIA/Privacy internal and external web pages which resulted in better public access to DTRA information and ensured internal consistency. Designed training material to include power point presentations, trifold information cards and internal agency notices for use in formal DTRA employee training on FOIA, Privacy, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and System of Records Notices (SORN) that resulted in 45% of DTRA personnel to be trained in the appropriate application of FOIA, Privacy and PII exemptions and DTRA SORNs were among the best in DOD and known to be very thorough and complete. Created the materials, briefing slides, conducted the training and answered follow-up questions while personally training DTRA’s FOIA/Privacy staff on FOIA Xpress and Redact Xpress redaction software.Perform review and clearance of proprietary information found in DTRA contracts in response to FOIA requests as well as processed and reviewed official government contracts initiated by DTRA with private companies and other DODorganizations for release to the public. Provided oral and written advice and guidance to management, staff, and public requesters regarding disclosure of DTRA records under the FOIA and the Privacy Act.
