  Line 8 of the Paris metro will be thoroughly modernised over the next few years: a new train, the MF19, currently being manufactured by Alstom; a new operating system, Octys, which will automate traffic flow and improve the robustness of operations; a new control centre; a new maintenance workshop, etc. We need to make this ‘big bang’ possible without penalising passengers, and therefore while maintaining a high quality of exploration under current conditions. My role is to interface with the project teams, representing the interests and needs of the operator. An exciting challenge! Show less
