  During this internship I conducted power industrial truck training for all plant associates, I spear-headed all accident investigations, safety system audits and facility audits. I wrote confined space permits, helped developed OSHA required programs, championed safety committee meetings, and administered first aid. My facility of responsibility maintained our VPP star level status and I ensured the completion of VPP reports.

  As the Director of EHS, I work closely with executive leadership teams to understand, support, and align safety strategy, goals, and objectives at both corporate and field operational levels. Some key responsibilities include:• Safety Strategy and Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership to align corporate safety strategies and objectives with field operations, guiding my team to ensure successful implementation.• Team Leadership and Management: Lead EHS teams to ensure the appropriate dissemination and implementation of corporate directives, safety communications, and initiatives.• Incident Reduction: Mentored EHS professionals in Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention programs, leading my team to identify, reduce, and eliminate high-risk tasks.• Incident Analysis and Reporting: Direct my team in creating and disseminating both qualitative and quantitative reports on incident root cause analyses and failed barrier analyses.
