  In this organization, I have been in three separate positions where I participate in the development and implementation of the organization's strategic plan, which outlines the long-term goals and objectives and provides leadership and direction to the organization per its mission and bylaws. I have also stayed informed about HSLS-related events and important information related to the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology at Ohio University and around the country while participating in volunteer work, hosting conferences, and getting to know HSLS faculty.   I create and serve specialty drinks and promotions, such as seasonal beverages or signature drinks that cater to the college community's preferences, and coordinate with other baristas and team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. I also foster a welcoming and inclusive environment that respects the diversity of the college community and accommodates various dietary preferences and restrictions.

  Babysitter

  I provide constant and attentive supervision to ensure the safety and security of children ranging from ages 3-8 years old, mediate and resolve conflicts or disagreements between children, encouraging positive communication and behavior. I also maintain open and regular communication with parents or guardians about the child's activities, behavior, and any concerns, and stay knowledgeable about the child's medical condition and how to respond in case of emergencies, including when to seek medical attention.   I prepare coffee, espresso, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards at a coffee shop that predominantly employs individuals with autism. I prioritize the safety and well-being of all team members, ensuring that the work environment is adapted to accommodate any specific safety concerns related to disabilities, and stay knowledgeable about any assistive technology or tools used by my colleagues and assist as needed.

  Volunteer

  I offered praise and encouragement for language efforts and accomplishments to Deaf children ranging from ages 3-9 years old, and planned and engaged the children in age-appropriate activities that promoted language development. I also planned and supervised outdoor activities and playdates that encouraged communication with peers and witnessed deaf children's progress and growth, from the initial stages of implantation through ongoing follow-up care.
