  Supervised the design, development and maintenance of UNIX systems, IMFORMIX databases and digital links used to track top-secret material moved by the courier service throughout the world. Conducted system analysis, acquisition, and computer operational procedures for thirty-seven courier stations worldwide. Lead engineer for developing technical requirements for a worldwide upgrade of all automation systems within the command.

  Established and managed the Modeling and Simulation division within the command. Primary efforts focused on integrating prototype digitized Tactical Operation Center (TOC) into Army Warfighting Experiments and exercises. Tasks included the development of integration concepts, network infrastructure engineering plans and overseeing teams of software developers in the installation and integration of simulation models. Integrating state of the art digital communications and space developed products into automated command and control systems. Represented Army Space Command as the resident Global Positioning System (GPS) functional area expert on all GPS related actions and issues. Managed programs to exploit GPS technology for total asset visibility tracking, GPS integration into simulation systems, and azimuth determination system demonstrations.

Led successful new business pursuits associated with the State of Florida, Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), NORAD NORTHCOM (NNC), Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), Central Command (CENTCOM), Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and Program Executive Office – Command Control Communications-Tactical (PEO-C3T). Responsible for managing Systems Engineers, Software Developers and Systems Administrators both CONUS and OCONUS to include combat zones. Project Manager for high priority projects. Worked closely with Military and Government Civilian Leadership to ensure L-3’s efforts were in alignment with CENTCOM’s Intelligence Community mission. Senior System Engineer duties also included operational design, software and hardware trouble-shooting, software testing, documentation, and site installations.
