  In collaboration with leadership, I provided strategic HR and talent consulting/advising to the executive team to create a healthy workplace culture and an engaged, productive workforce. Through the implementation of effective policies, appropriate recognition programs and thoughtful practices, I reduced voluntary turnover for all positions by 10% to below 16%, increased annual participation in employee engagement survey by 30% to 91%, and attracted and hired over 520 new employees. By partnering with key stakeholders in service lines, I drove business growth strategies, increased annual participation in the employee engagement survey from 70% to 93% with an improvement in engagement scores; and led Leadership Team through a reduction in force, all while maintaining a focus on delivering the highest-quality patient experience. In addition to leading the HR, Employee Health and Volunteer Offices at two campuses, I provided HR consulting and advising to Directors. By fostering Lean initiatives that reduced waste from the work process, financial savings and improved employee morale were achieved. The vacancy rate was decreased to under 5% in two years; employee engagement scores improved by 7%; satisfaction by 11% and employee participation increased by 9% in two years. I analyzed, prepared and presented key labor data and action plans to senior leadership; managed compliance oversight for all HR functions, and developed and implemented workforce initiatives that facilitated a healthy work environment. My role was to oversee the daily operations of the HR Department, coordinate leadership, strategy, and management of the Recruitment Team and manage the compensation, Affirmative Action, and employee evaluation programs. As Lead Nurse Recruiter, I hired over 300 RNs in 2 years by crafting recruiting strategies for the medical center and division that included building relationships with local and regional nursing schools. I counseled current and prospective employees on healthcare career options and advised management on compliance with Federal and State employment laws and HR policies.
