  Career BreakAfter accepting redundancy in January 2011 as part of a large Eli Lilly downsizing and switch to out-sourced operations, I used long service leave for an extended vacation followed by a career break to pursue personal projects (house renovation, carers leave and voluntary community service). During this time I also spent considerable time and energy as a company director with SGLMG to participate in company constitutional change, a major re-branding exercise, DGR planning, a highly successful 2012 season and management (committee chair) of a submission to government for the development of a LGBTQI museum.Safeguarding Biodiversity Cooperative Research Centre - University of NewcastleDuring June I provided submission review consultation for the Securing & Rebuilding Biodiversity CRC funding submission to the Federal Government, Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research. This has resulted in further offers from the CRC for me to manage the development of their online presence if the bid is successful. Show less
