During the 2020/21 academic year, there was a 300% increase in the number of sign ups and a 164% increase in the number of students successfuly completing the award, compared with the 2018/19 academic year. Ths was achieved through a combination of online engagement, such as email campaigns and social media and face to face engagement such as in class presentation and information stands- Developed problem solving skills through the use of CareerHub software to improve student accessibility to the service, automate processes and improve overall data quality, leading to an enhanced user experience for students and more efficient working amongst the team. I also deliver training sessions and act as a point of contact for staff across the university, such as the Standards and Enhancement Office as they look to streamline their mitigating circumstances process- Worked in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to offer new means of engagement with the award, such as the successful embedding of the award into a BA (Hons) Fashion module- Project managed new initatives from inception until successful implementation to improve the careers service offer, such as the Professional Skills Certificate and the Bolton Future Leaders Award, demonstrating my ability to offer solutions to gaps in provision- Made use of data to inform development of the award, leading to increased engagement from students from widening participation backgrounds in comparison with other university initiatives- Line management of 10 Student Employment Champions, developing my ability to coach and motivate staff Show less
