      Activities and Societies: I worked part-time when I went to City College of New York and didn't have time for any social activities. However, I became a member of a sorority in my second year. I studied to become a teacher of commercial subjects - but then, years later, transferred to Rutgers, the State University where I became a Journalism and Communications major.
