Being invited back to my alma mater as a mentor was a proud and meaningful milestone in my professional journey, and it was a memorable experience to engage with students who are now beginning their own paths in technology.During the session, I covered key topics within DevOps and cloud, including best practices for infrastructure automation, continuous integration and deployment, and industry trends shaping the cloud ecosystem. By diving into real-time IT workflows and illustrating real-world scenarios, I aimed to give students a comprehensive view of how these technologies are applied across today’s tech landscape.Beyond technical insights, I provided students with practical career guidance, sharing tips and strategies for excelling in interviews, building a strong professional profile, and developing the mindset needed to succeed in dynamic and evolving tech roles. My goal was not only to educate on the subject matter but to inspire confidence and readiness as students approach the next steps in their professional journeys.This guest lecture was a wonderful reminder of the importance of mentorship, education, and community in fostering new talent and preparing future leaders in technology.
