  Project analyst

  I worked on the Eastern Caribbean Automated Clearing House (ECACH) project to set up an imaging automated clearing house for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and the 18 commercial banks across the 8 Eastern Caribbean territories, as a part of the consulting project management team. My roles included:• Communicating and liaising with the key stakeholders of the project• Reviewing and editing important ECACH project documentation. I successfully produced the User Acceptance Testing report for the banks' sign off.• Managing the testing of the new system – writing test scripts, organising test schedules and tracking and analysing test results• Planning and organising workshops and meetings for the stakeholders of the projectThe ECACH successfully went live on September 25th, 2014 and I assisted with the preparation for implementation and well as with the monitoring of territories as they cut over to production. As a part of the Implementation Command Centre, I tracked issues logged by the banks, created and distributed daily status reports and provided assistance to banks in the form of clarifying operating guidelines and rules and setting up forums for issues to be resolved.   I manage the operations of the Automated Clearings House (ACH) systems in Barbados and in the Cayman Islands (as well as the local debit switch in Barbados until its closure in 2021) – pillars of the payments industry for both territories. I work with my team to ensure that the systems are reliable (with a near 100% up-time), secure and up-to-date with industry standards. The job involves: maintaining good relationships with the financial institutions (FIs) that use the systems; analyzing transactions data and providing reports to stakeholders; ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively; developing and updating key documentation; planning and coordinating Operations Committee meetings with the financial institutions; and planning and strategizing growth and improvement of the systems. I also: work on projects to set up or upgrade payments systems in the region, including a project to introduce Real-Time Payments to Barbados; manage the operations of Prism's data centre in Barbados; manage the operations of merchant support services for an FI operating in Barbados. In this role, I: maintain relationships with our bank clients in the Cayman Islands; assist with annual budgets and monthly forecasts; create monthly performance reports; plan and strategize growth of the company; develop and present proposals for new business; ensure corporate affairs of the company are maintained; and plan and coordinate regular meetings with the Boards of Directors (of Prism Services (Cayman) Limited and the ACH company).I continue to have my responsibilities as Operations Manager for both companies.
