Ccom 2700 - french as a second language level 3

A course offered through UNB's College of Extended Learning, CCOM 2700 offered an opportunity to improve my spoken and written French abilities. Topics were covered in a conversational setting to allow for a hands-on approach to topics such as the use of past and imperfect tenses, the use of semi-auxiliary verbs, and vocabulary to discuss home, work, and hobbies.

      Bachelor's degree electrical engineering

I completed my Engineering Degree (Electrical Engineering with Co-op Designation) in December 2016 at Dalhousie after commencing the program at Acadia University. The degree required the completion of 69 credit hours at both Acadia and Dalhousie, 12 months of work-term experience in the latter two years, and the completion of a senior-year capstone project (described below). I was conferred this degree in Halifax in June 2017.

      May 2016 - Aug 2016
      Specialist, systems integration (co-op student)

I worked in Saint John, NB on the Video Innovation Centre (VIC) team.I supported test efforts to launch Canada's first wireless 4K PVR - this required testing on a new set-top box platform (VIP5662) and the VIP3400 and HomeHub 3000 to provide the wireless in-home access. These devices launched in August 2016.To support this testing I leveraged Ixia software, iperf, Wireshark, and WiSpy to create various test scenarios and monitor the video experience. This effort required many iterations of device firmwares and network optimizations, so it was important to ensure the testing was rapid, quantitative, and reproducible. Show less
