      The following were some of the functions I was involved in:1) I was responsible for ensuring all Board resolutions are implemented.2) Performing internal control reviews of major operations of the Group across its various companies (including system descriptions, identifying weaknesses and making recommendations).3) Responsibilities included detailed examination of accounting records control systems, balance sheet and income statement items, actual and budgeted expenses and variance analysis, payroll, bidding and procurement procedures. Responsibilities also included supervising and training the staff members of the audit department.4) Examining the accounting software used by the Group.5) Instated a standard chart of accounts used by the Group.6) Standardized the policies and procedures adopted by the Group.7) Audited the HR function, files and procedures.8) Reviewed the feasibility studies at the holding company level for appropriateness.9) Audited the shareholders’ records and related actions and cash flows.10) Supervised the work of 4 staff members in the internal audit department.11) Assisted in the preparation of the audited consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annually) and their related disclosures.12) Assisted in the preparation of the actual monthly financial positions and the forecasts for the year and analyzing variances.
