      Volunteer Central Minerals and Environmental Science CenterPrepared and analyzed samples with x-ray diffraction and fluorescence for elemental analysis and chemistry.Set up advanced macro photography system for documentation and research comparison of rocks and minerals. The system included a Canon EOS70D, lens Canon EF-s 60mm F/2.8 Macro USM mounted on Cognisys rail equipped with stack shot, linked to a computer with the Cam Ranger. The camera takes between 30-60 photos at different depth the fields with Stack-shot. Then the operator uses Photoshop to merge the photos into a seamless final image.https://www.usgs.gov/ Show less
