I have been taken beyond my comfort zone and placed into new professional and educational territories. I developed and grew as a health care professional and as an educator with my own philosophy and values. My MSDH degree has afforded me the opportunity to learn more about and experience leadership, curriculum management, course development, educational methodology, and more. For my thesis research, I developed and implemented a survey for evaluating the current calibration efforts of accredited dental hygiene programs in North America, which was published. Because the degree utilizes an online format, I have become familiar and proficient with various learning technologies. Show less
