  Thesis: “Effect of Metal Temperature on Industrial Gas Turbine Critical Speed”The MSc thesis studies the influence of higher metal temperatures on the critical speed of a frame type gas turbine. The predicted critical speed was obtained by using Transfer Matrix Method and variable metal elasticity instead of a fixed value. API standards with many other technical papers were used in the modeling and evaluation of the rotor system.
