      World Fuel Services Corporation is a Fortune 100 company, which provides marketing and financing of aviation, marine and ground transportation fuel products and related services to commercial and corporate aircraft, petroleum distributors, and ships at more than 3,500 locations around the world.I hold a financial operations leadership position responsible for building processes and driving process automation. Show less As Manager of Expediting, I led transaction processing and reporting and operations for World Fuel’s commercial and corporate aviation business. I was responsible for directly managing the expediting activities, risk exposure, and compliance for more than 10,000 blanket sales agreements (BSAs) for domestic services with our clients JetBlue, Spirit, Frontier, and other airlines, and for providing strategic leadership and operations monitoring for World Fuel’s global expediting operations. I performed billings analyses and reconciliations, collaborated with the Sales teams to minimize corporate risk against BSAs, and oversaw a team of three Expediting Coordinators. Notable achievements:►Maintaining consistently strong performance against KPIs on more than 60,00 transactions monthly, in which I achieved 100% reporting accuracy (a 50% increase) and decreased the reporting cycle to 1 hour through reporting automation.►Reducing the company's financial exposure and increasing the cash flow by decreasing the billing cycle (lift to bill) from 5 days to 3 (a 40% reduction). This improved operational transparency, enabling the Sales teams to improve BSA compliance.►Being appointed to participate in cross-functional corporate initiatives, which included managing new client onboarding, and serving as a member of a team architecting the company's next generation AP/AR platforms.►Building a high performing team through ongoing business and technical training and talent management. Show less I was promoted to Analyst in 2013, and then to Senior Analyst in 2015, in which I supported the success of the Fuel Management organization as an embedded business analyst and corporate process owner for financial operations data configuration, management, and reporting platforms. This entailed analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes and business intelligence (BI) reporting to drive process enhancements, build solutions, and close service gaps.
