      Research Assistant

I completed a research project within the NHS Learning Disability Department. This involved investigating the facilitators and barriers to engaging individuals in meaningful activity. It looked at how engaging in such can decrease challenging behaviour exhibited by individuals with learning disabilities and increase their quality of life. This involved interviewing 11 support workers across the Yorkshire region. I subsequently presented the findings at an NHS regional research conference.
