      During my tenure as volunteer (Pengajar Muda) in Indonesia Mengajar, I had to do some main designated tasks, as follows: 1. Academic task: taught children in remote island of Northern Indonesia, Sangihe.2. Extracurricular: a. together with local teacher, conducted weekly extracurricular on how to undergo the Indonesian flag ceremony every Monday morning. b. together with the local teachers, I introduced the "Creative Class" for elementary students, the content of Creative Class were; writing poetry, watching movie, painting, and some outdoor-related to environment and sports activities.3. Community empowerment: conducted a couple of women empowerment programs in order to promote a better livelihood and healthcare, for instance through financial literacy class and basic healthcare as well as sanitation for housewives.4.       I assisted the research on the use of local knowledge, through Taibaan research (research's done by the local communities of Thailand) to find the adaptive strategy over Mekong river's ecosystem changes affecting the lower Mekong sub-regions. The research is conducted in five villages in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai Provinces, Thailand. The research is led by social and environmental-justice NGOs: Mekong Community Institute and Living River Siam Association. This research is part of the Global Transformative Initiative's program of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU), which is led by UC Berkeley and University of Copenhagen.       - Researcher at the Children's Policy Centre and is currently working on research project titled "Assessing childhood poverty in Indonesia", led by Professor Sharon Bessell. This children-centric research is aimed to contribute to Individual Deprivation Measure (IDM), an individual-level, multidimensional, gender sensitive, and scalar's poverty measure. The research is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) as a discovery project.- Research assistant to Associate Professor John McCarthy on project "Household vulnerability, food security and the politics of social protection in Indonesia", which is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) as a discovery project. I am also working on the early stage of desk research on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) in rural developments in Indonesia.- Researcher at the Individual Deprivation Measure (IDM) project under Crawford School of Public Policy. IDM is a multidimensional, gender sensitive, scalar- and individual- level poverty measurement. Working in a team, I am responsible to conduct literature review for several poverty dimensions and to assist in writing for publication. Show less
