  Research Assistant- Center for the Teaching Profession

  I worked for the Senior Executive Director of the Center for the Teaching Profession. Primarily I conducted and assisted various research projects such as meta-analyses on teaching for higher-level thinking and supply-demand of K-12 educators in Ohio. I also assisted in analyzing survey results for ongoing projects, preparing for presentations to stakeholders, and assisting with programming that is in compliance with state policy.

  Graduate Assistant- Assessment and Research

  I assisted assessment and evaluation efforts of tutoring services at the University of Arizona. Created Semester and Annual Reporting and analysis used in THINK TANK's 5 year celebration. I supported qualitative surveys, focus group assessments, and generated regular and ad hoc quantitative reports. Also, I conducted analysis on student retention and course grade outcomes, and compared UA student outcomes with those reported by UA's academic peers.

  I worked with the Director of Research to set the foundation's research initiatives that impact high-achieving low-income students in the U.S. I conducted original research using national datasets to analyze how we can better serve and support high-achieving low-income students.

  I oversaw data cleaning and analysis for Annual Progress Reports delivered to the US Department of Education. I supported Director of Educator Talent in grant writing and compliance reporting of two US Teacher’s Incentive Fund grant awards totaling in $47 million dollars, affecting 14 school districts across Tennessee. I prepared, confirmed data accuracy on teacher/administrator retention, teacher administrator performance, survey data from school and district faculty.   Data Management Analyst III

  I lead data management and reporting for 14 academic programs in maintaining accreditation at the institutional, state and national levels. This includes supporting 50+ faculty and adjunct instructors in data collection, reporting, and evaluation needs for strategic planning and reporting on 500+ courses annually. To accomplish this, I oversee the implementation and use of data collection programs in the College of Education- Via, Qualtrics, Cognos, Portfolium. I also facilitate engagement with our community stakeholders, including collecting and reporting on feedback from alumni and community members. In 2020-21, I managed a $25,000 budget as Staff Advisory Council Treasurer, serving 875 staff members.   Reporting to the Business Operations Manager and Dean of the Graduate School, the Data Analyst provides a high level of diversified analytical and administrative support to the Graduate School such as data presentation of Fellowship, scholarships and awards (Excel, Tableau or other graphic venues); conducts assigned data analyses, including analysis of qualitative and quantitative data; assists with financial projections, performs “deep dive” assessments and modeling possibly to include student outcome data, fellowship data, enrollment data, admissions data, comparative data, financial data; providing data capture for analytical approaches for forecasting, verifications and reporting. Working and coordinating the Graduate School business data practices with university information services, such as OCIO, OUR, SIS and OSAS and special projects as they arise, and other duties as assigned.   Director of Operations, Strategy and Innovation

  I provide strategic planning leadership within the Graduate School by developing and executing strategies that improve operational processes, technologies, and data-sharing capabilities to advance strategic initiatives and fulfill the Graduate School’s mission. I support projects that span teams within the Graduate School and coordinate key strategic projects that require partnership with other teams across the university. I lead a team that identifies and addresses technology needs across the Grad School, analyses data, and produces data reports to inform data-informed decision-making for graduate education at OSU.
