      Worked with executive leadership and the board of directors to lead the development and coordination of all internal and external messaging for the Brooks Health System, which includes a 143-bed rehabilitation hospital, a network of 24 outpatient centers and the Brooks Center for Rehabilitation Studies and Brooks Home Care Advantage.-Developed messaging surrounding the Brooks Community Benefit Program, including news conferences, news releases, events and major gifts to achieve the organization’s strategic objectives while always strengthening the Brooks brand.-Based on brand objectives and messaging consistency, expanded and upgraded internal and external communication pieces, including the addition of an e-newsletter and a clinical newsletter, Innovations. The internal newsletter, Teamwork, won a Mark of Excellence Award from the Florida Hospital Association.-Built and leveraged relationships with local and medical media, resulting in increased positive media coverage of more than 200 percent annually from 2005 to 2008.-Developed a multibrand website, http://www.brookshealth.org on time and under budget. Created all new content based on rebranding to the Centers of Excellence, in keeping with strategic positioning of the Brooks brand. Site won six national awards and three state and local awards.-Led development of employee Intranet using SharePoint 2007, developing user experience to draw employees closer to the organization and give them a bigger stake in the success and ownership of the Brooks brand.-Managed a public relations team of two in Jacksonville, along with vendors and freelancers.
