      Assisted with the planning, coordination, and support for training within a Battalion sized element. Ensured the training calendar was updated and disseminated down to the company level. Acted as Rear detachment Commander for one NTC rotation and as the BN Rear Detachment XO for a deployment. Responsible for all property within a Forward Support Company valued in excess of $2.5 million. Planned and coordinated training for a Company size element in order to prepare for future deployments. Ensured that the other five companies within the Battalion were logistically supported in all aspects of their training. Tracked all new equipment fielding's as well as new equipment training as it pertained to the company. Directly coordinated the logistics support for five Forward Operating Bases in Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Successfully led over 150 Tactical Convoy Operations throughout Regional Control East. Accountable for vehicles and equipment valued around $1.5 million. Supervised 20 Soldiers in a combat environment. Managed the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 150 wheeled vehicles and approximately 2000 pieces of equipment to include but not limited to weapon systems, night vision devices, and chemical protective equipment. Responsible for various maintenance equipment valued in excess of $800,000.00. Directly supervised 40 Soldiers with varying backgrounds and technical skills. Ultimately responsible for the health, welfare, and fitness of those 40 individuals.
