      Working in a team of two in a purely client-focused role within the IT and telecommunications sector. Liasing with clients via telephone and face-to-face meetings. Cold calling in a head hunting capacity both in the UK and mainland Europe. Responsible for understanding the client's requirement, sourcing qualified candidates, and subsequently arranging client interviews through to the negotiation of offers with both parties. Gained valuable experience and contacts within the telecommunications industry throughout Europe. Several placements made totalling around £90k in the final 12 months, including senior members of startups, multinational operators, manufacturers and software houses. Brought in new clients through cold calling, developing the relationship and making placements often competing against larger international recruitment agencies with greater success. Led face-to-face meetings with key industry people, demonstrating an extensive knowledge of the FM marketplace. Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of a number of high-profile candidates into companies, including British Airways, ISS UK, Pinnacle Insurance and Drivers Jonas, all of which were clients I brought in from an extremely cold and volatile market.
