      As part of the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2014, a global competition, we produced an equity research report, ie. a full company report containing a high-conviction investment case, business description, strategy analysis, competitive positioning, financial analysis and forecast as well as a valuation and risk analysis. With my teammates from the University of Lille 2 and Skema Business School, we initiated coverage of FAURECIA, a French car equipment manufacturer, with a Buy recommendation and more than 40% upside potential. The report was selected among the thirteen best in France (alongside ESSEC, EM Lyon and IESEG) and we won the final. The final contest consisted of a 10-minute oral presentation and Q&A in front of a panel of industry experts. We were able to convincingly convey our investment case in an original, structured and high-impact manner, while being able to answer the questions of the jury. Show less
